About Me

Self-Description

I would describe myself as kind, patient and dedicated to helping others.  It is my goal to be an educator, a support, a role model and an inspiration to my clients.  In therapy, I hope to help my clients to believe in themselves and their resources within themselves.

My Practice

 My practice includes individuals, families and couples.  I have a passion for working with teens and young adults!  I have specialized in working with eating disordered individuals since 1995.  I also have expertise in adoption related issues.  I love helping all of my clients, whether it be improving their relationships, teaching healthy coping skills, educating them on communication skills, assisting them in improving their self-esteem or helping them to develop a healthy relationship with food and their bodies.


 My experience enables me to offer effective outpatient, individualized, psychological care. I treat a number of mental health disorders, and provide a neutral ground to individuals, families, and couples.

Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances.  Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger after post -traumatic events. In your psychotherapy sessions, I can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.

Relationship counseling can be beneficial to couples who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection in all stages of their relationship. Psychotherapy sessions are held with both couples and individuals in a supportive place to discuss issues and solutions to better strengthen your relationship.

Eating disorders are painful for those who suffer.  Preoccupation with food or calories and fear about weight gain can be exhausting, Body dysmorphia and poor self- image can all be improved with specialized treatment.  It's time to love yourself again!!
